Built in 1914, the Areal served as a location for steel production for many decades. In recent years, more than 100 small and larger companies have settled there. In addition, six halls are available for events. They can be rented individually or as a whole ensemble. The outdoor area can also be used. 

The area has recently become a well-booked exhibition location. Wedding fairs, Veggieworld, Eat&Style, Chefsache, fashion and shoe fairs and most recently the ART Dusseldorf attract tens of thousands of visitors to the site. The good thing: Trains stop right outside the door. That means that Areal Böhler is perfectly connected to public transport.
